Hi there,
I'm in charge of a sofa company in Kunshan. The company is a subsidiary of a Singapore listed company (Lorenzo). I used to be the son of Lorenzo's founder and director. He is also the 2nd largest shareholder amongst 3 founding directors.
Recently my father decided to retire and has been progressively selling his shares. He is exiting this company complete and thus I do not want to stay either.
I thought of taking over the sofa factory I am running as I was the main person to have built up this subsidiary over the years and is very involved in all aspects of its management (I am the General Manager and I basically run the 400men company since it was only 15 men 8 years ago).
I spoke to the remaining directors and although they would want very much for me to stay, they would not mind selling the sofa factory to me as I have been actively managing that company and it would be very hard for them to take over without a HUGE shake up of its entire management. Furthermore, they now have a new factory and a new company in another part of Kunshan and they were just wondering how to combine my company with theirs (if I chose to stay of course).
Anyway, in a nutshell, I need capital to take over this company and I need both funds and professional help.
