TITLE: Building furniture using eco-friendly material
SYNOPSIS:
N*** Elite proposes an alternative more economical eco-friendly FRC
material to replace traditional wood in the making of doors. This
alternative solution could bring along a new business opportunity
while supporting Green Label at the same time.
PROPOSAL SUMMARY:
Wood has been traditionally considered as a best base material for making doors. However the increasing cost of wood together with the eco-friendly call for cutting lesser trees to save our forests have caused door manufacturers to consider other alternative base materials.
Fibre-Reinforced Composite (FRC) makes use of unique bonding technology to combine wood fibres together with 100% recycled bottles to develop a material similar to wood. FRC has more enhanced specifications as compared to traditional wood as it allows easier machining process.
'Nova Elite' plans to use its engineering expertise on FRC material to provide solutions for mass market. The process of making doors using FRC could be accelerated by unique injection and extrusion moulding designs. Intrigue designs could be achieved through moulding rather than the traditional wood machining process. Higher rates and thus volumes of door production can also be achieved and there is an opportunity of up-scaling this technique to other wood products. The successful implementation will provide an alternative solution to traditional wooded doors.
Through our successful development of FRC material doors, 'Nova Elite' aims to make use of our geographical advantage as a trading and communication hub to penetrate both the local and overseas market. The demand for doors has always been thriving alongside the rising property market. Eco-Friendly doors will have a good opportunity to enter the market as most of the real estate companies are seeking to achieve the Green Label award in their projects. Our pricing will also be competitive as compared to traditional wood as our variable cost for our base materials is significantly lower.
The collaboration of Nova Elite's engineering expertise with FRC manufacturer's material supply would enhance capabilities of both parties and cover each other's inadequacies from possible competitors. This collaboration seeks to enhance the current design and improve on the future products.

MINIMUM INVESTMENT AMOUNT: $250,000
