1) The Fund Principals are experts in Valuation & evaluation of mining projects, having been responsible for establishing the Canadian Mining Valuation Standards. The founding partner also received several industry accolades including the Canadian Mineral National Economics award for mining valuation.
2) The Fund will scout for value in mis-priced, undervalued mining projects in both public and private markets, in resource rich developed markets with low political risk including Canada, Australia, Chile, Peru, and the US
3) Management team has extensive “on the ground” mining evaluation skills with over 90 years of cumulative experience backed by extensive Geological, Exploration and Mining Experience, and also extensive Knowledge of the Mining Finance Business,
4) Out of the global mineral universe of approximately 13,000 targets, the team’s unique mining matrices and valuation models has identified 675 mineral projects in the Feasibility/Pre-production stage, with majority being gold and copper dominant projects. The team has the ability to immediately invest in these targets
5) The fund will use its China relationships to co-invest or pre-invest with Chinese enterprises as they invest internationally.
TARGET INVESTORS
a) apart from financial investors who are our targets, this fund will also appeal to corporate who desire to acquire overseas assets but have little mining expertise to do so; and they will have access to these projects by investing in our global mining fund
