Peer-to-Peer Lending

Hi Tan,
am developing a peer-to-peer lending site that will target disapora africans as investors to finance upcoming smes in east and central africa. Through Microcorp capital my company which is in the registration process, we'll set up the online investment platform adoptmybiz.com which will offer investors the opportunity to lend or take an equity position in the businesses in the platform. we're benchmarking on myc4.com which has been successful in africa so far but our differentiation will be targeting african investors and offering equity positions to the investors as angel investors, our role will be that of financial intermediation we dont want to be a microfinance since in the long run we intend to target more sophisticated investors such as investment banks, venture capital and mutual funds that invest in emerging markets to invest in businesses in africa.
I was hoping to touch base on this with you and probably have you as a director in the business given your experience and expertise in this sector. looking forward to your two pieces on this. Cheers.
